The Immersive Sound Revolution began in the large re-recording stages on big-budget films. It has since spread to all aspects of the production and post-production industries for film and television. Now there are “near-field” studios, sound design suites, dialog options and music mix facilities feeding immersive tracks to the re-recording stage for the final mix.
