Onnalee’s journey into the world of sound began after a car accident ended her dance career at the age of 21. Relocating to Los Angeles, she quickly ascended from making coffee to engineering records, spending several years under the mentorship of legendary producer Rick Rubin. During this time, she contributed to iconic projects like Johnny Cash’s final albums and Jay-Z’s "99 Problems." An introduction to Danny Elfman led to her first foray into film score recording and engineering, where she worked on celebrated films such as Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This pivotal experience eventually transitioned her career into re-recording mixing and sound supervision.
