Alexandra Fehrman is a re-recording mixer, sound designer, and supervising sound editor with 18 years of sound department experience in film and television. She recently mixed three Oscar wining films, serving as final re-recording mixer on Sian Heder’s Sundance hit “CODA” in 2022, final re-recording mixer on The Daniels “Everything Everywhere All At Once” in 2023, and final re-recording mixer on “American Fiction” in 2023. In 2021 Alexandra received her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour) for her work on Amazon’s “The Boys.”
Alexandra began working at a music studio in her teens, and has been involved in the recording arts ever since. Over the years, she has honed her skills in various roles, having worked as a stage tech, sound designer, supervising sound editor, and mixer. She now primarily works as a dialogue and music mixer, and supervising sound editor, and takes pride in supporting story with sound, and shaping dialogue to have a warm tone, while delicately balancing it with music to create a clear and dynamic final audio track.
