Steve Bucino started his career in New York City circa 2003 recording and mixing albums in music studios before transitioning into post production. He spent the first ten years of his audio post career as a sound designer and mixer for advertising agencies, animation, and independent films and documentaries.

Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2014, Steve has found creative expression primarily as a sound effects re-recording mixer. As a 20+ year industry veteran, Steve also has ample credits as a sound supervisor, sound designer, an ADR mixer, and mixing dialog & music. Steve prides himself on not only being able to quickly translate and execute client direction, but also a unique ability to identify the emotional beats of a story and manipulate sound in order to enhance those moments.

Steve is grateful and excited to have found a home on Mix 2 at NBCUniversal StudioPost since 2021.
