Benny Burtt is a Supervising Sound Editor at Skywalker Sound, where he has helped craft soundscapes for some of today’s most acclaimed films. He is a frequent collaborator with director Ryan Coogler, supervising the sound for his films Sinners, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Black Panther, and Creed.
In addition to his work with Coogler, Benny has cut effects on major projects including F1, Kraven the Hunter, Twisters, Pixar’s Lightyear and Elemental, Top Gun Maverick, and the Jurassic World franchise, among others. He is passionate about using sound to immerse audiences in story and emotion, from subtle details to explosive action sequences.
