Erica Weis has spent nearly 25 years collaborating with filmmakers as a music supervisor and music editor, helping bring their creative visions to the screen. A lifelong musician, she began as a classical pianist and went on to earn her degree in Piano Performance before studying film scoring and engineering at Berklee College of Music. Straight out of school, Erica found herself on the recording stage at Abbey Road working with composer Michael Kamen on the score for Band of Brothers. He became an early mentor, and that experience led her to relocate to Los Angeles to continue building her career.< br />< br />

Her career includes collaborations with legendary filmmakers and storytellers, from Adam McKay on Anchorman 1 & 2, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, and The Other Guys, to Paul Feig on The Heat, Spy, Ghostbusters, A Simple Favor 1 & 2, The School for Good and Evil, and Jackpot!. She frequently collaborates with composer Theodore Shapiro, and she has also been working with composer John Paesano on the continuing Diary of a Wimpy Kid series for Disney+. Other credits include acclaimed projects such as Wonder, Quiz Lady, Flamin’ Hot, Happiest Season, and Moxie.< br />< br />

This year, Erica is looking forward to the release of several projects she worked on, including the fourth Diary of a Wimpy Kid, 20th Century Fox’s remake of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, and Paul Feig’s The Housemaid.
