Sound designer-turned-sound-story-writer Jennifer Walden loves waveforms, the Oxford comma, and pushing buttons. She graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with bachelor's degrees in both Professional Writing and Electronic Media. After working as a Mixer/Sound Designer at Ultra-Sound/The Napoleon Group in NYC for seven years, Jennifer left the studio to start her writing career. She regularly contributes to A Sound Effect, Mix Magazine, and CineMontage. She's written for Post Magazine, postPerspective, Sound & Picture, UK's First Frame (from the Guild of British Film & Television Editors), Televisual, and Below the Line. This year, she won a G.A.N.G. Award for 'Best Game Audio Article or Publication: The Last of Us Part II Sound Interview — A Sound Effect.'
