Al Nelson began his film career in the machine room at Skywalker Sound where he has worked for over 25 years. He has been a sound designer and sound supervisor on many award-winning feature films and documentaries. Recently, Al's sound recording work has taken him to remote island jungles, Icelandic volcanoes, deployed aircraft carriers, and to quite a few airfields and runways. Al has a degree in music composition and classical guitar from Florida State University.
