Kami Asgar was introduced to the film industry at a young age through his father who owned and operated the largest cinemas in Iran and produced feature films in the US. Kami has experience in several different facets of the film industry from pre to post production, working as a set photographer, production assistant, editor, production executive, producer and where he found his true passion as a supervising sound editor. He was nominated for an Emmy for his work on “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and was nominated with Sean McCormack for an Oscar for “Apocalypto.” Kami has worked on many box office hits including “Venom”, “Pitch Perfect”, “Zombieland” and Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”.In addition, outside the film industry he has managed a successful off-road racing team with Class wins at the Nevada 500 and Baja 500 among others.
