Inside the New, Connected Machine Room

Location: Tour Begins at the Cary Grant Theater

This new, chief engineer and stage technician-focused experience begins with a guided tour of Sony Pictures Studios’ key technical spaces—machine rooms, mix stages, four-way screen array monitor systems, networked IT backbone, etc.—offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the infrastructure that powers post-production sound.

The Engineers Tour ends in the spacious control room of the legendary Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage, with an expert panel discussion focused on developing a secure, reliable, seamless means of enabling true remote collaboration.
