The Covid pandemic certainly kick-started the mainstream adoption of
remote collaboration technologies and workflows is sound for film and television. But
most of it involved a series of secure file exchange and downloads. Now the major
studios are all developing systems that go beyond simple file sharing and Aspera
approvals. In this special technology panel, chief engineers and IT specialists from the
leading film and television studios will share insights on evolving workflows, system
design, and the challenges involved in implementing a secure and seamless IT
backbone that enables true real-time, secure, seamless collaboration among
creatives—wherever they might be.
