Michael Semanick is a Sound Engineer Mixer who partners with Studios like Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers Entertainment and Skywalker Sound to blend the sense of sound into a finalized work of art. After spending nearly a decade at Fantasy Studios working as a Recording Engineer, Michael is proficient at post production sound, making major motion pictures enjoyable for the world. It’s a joy for him to transform a director’s vision and bring that experience through sound to the big screen. In addition to mixing major motion pictures, Michael has consulted for Robert Rodriguez on his Trouble Maker Studios as well as Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post Facility and various other studios in Brazil. Michael has been nominated for CAS awards, BAFTA Awards and for 11 Academy Awards with two wins for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing for Lord of the Rings: Return of the King 2004 and King Kong in 2006. Michael holds a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA.
