Christian Buenaventura, MPSE is an Emmy Award-winning Supervising Sound Editor and Dialogue Editor with two decades of experience in film and television. An eight-time Emmy nominee, Christian won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing for American Horror Story: Asylum. His credits span acclaimed series including American Horror Story, Netflix’s Monster Series, Hacks, Marvel’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, & 9-1-1. As a member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), Christian has received eight Golden Reel Award nominations and was part of the Golden Reel-winning sound team for True Blood in 2010. Christian graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Recording Arts and a minor in Music. His expertise encompasses dialogue and ADR editing, and shaping the sonic identity of a production through thoughtful, story-driven sound.
